A Pennsylvania judge accused a federal labor arbiter of acting as an extension of a powerful labor union in a dispute with a local hospital.
Federal Judge Arthur J. Schwab said that the National Labor Relations Board overstepped its bounds when it demanded personnel information from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian (UPMC) during an investigation into alleged unfair labor practices filed by SEIU. The hospital objected to three requests because they would aid the union’s attempt to organize the workplace.
A new ABC News poll has nothing but heartache for Democrats and President Obama. By a wide margin of 52-42%, voters see President Obama as a failed president. Americans also see Obama as more of a divider than uniter. Only 38% believe President Obama is uniting the country. A majority of 55% believe he's dividing the country.
On this question, Obama polls worse than President Bush did at this point in his second term. While the same number, 55%, saw Bush as a divider, 43% saw him as a uniter.

A Twitter account on Monday was used by someone associated with ISIS to calls for the killing of employees in San Francisco, the location of the company's headquarters. It has since been shutdown. President Barack Obama is abandoning his pledge to take executive action on immigration reform by the end of summer, the Associated Press and other outlets reported Saturday morning.
After reform legislation failed in to advance in Congress, Obama had vowed in June that he would soon be using the powers of his office to try and improve the U.S. immigration system on his own. Obama, who's already facing Republican allegations of executive overreach, was sure to encounter stiff resistance and the move could have potentially defined the second term of his presidency.
